MORE THAN TWO DECADES. STILL LOOKING FORWARD

Meadow is an independent, senior-led creative agency helping organizations find the idea worth building around—and giving that idea the clarity, character, and form to endure.

Founded in San Francisco in 2002, we partner with organizations entering an important next chapter: new ventures, new audiences, new markets, new leadership, and brands ready to become more distinct.

Experience gives us perspective. Curiosity keeps us from repeating ourselves. And staying intentionally compact keeps experienced people close to both the thinking and the making.

MORE OUTPUT HASN’T MADE DISTINCTION EASIER

The creative landscape has changed dramatically. Ideas can be visualized instantly. Language can be generated endlessly. Production that once required days can now happen in hours. We welcome that change.

New tools allow us to explore more possibilities, prototype sooner, remove repetitive work, and devote greater attention to the decisions that actually matter.

But tools do not know which idea is right.

They cannot fully understand the history inside an organization, recognize the emotional truth beneath a conversation, sense when something is almost right but fundamentally off, or take responsibility for what a brand should become.

That still requires people.

Strategy. Curiosity. Judgment. Editing. Empathy. Context. Originality. Taste.

These are not decorative qualities applied after something has been generated. They determine what is worth creating in the first place.

Our objective isn’t to preserve an old creative process. It is to build a better one—more exploratory where exploration adds value, more efficient where repetition does not, and unmistakably human where the important decisions are made.

ONE IDEA. MANY FORMS

We don’t think of branding as a series of unrelated deliverables. We build connected systems where strategy, language, design, digital experience, content, and physical expression reinforce one another. The creative landscape has changed dramatically. Ideas can be visualized instantly. Language can be generated endlessly. Production that once required days can now happen in hours. We welcome that change.

Strategy + Positioning
Research, workshops, audience definition, competitive perspective, brand architecture, and the central idea that gives everything else direction.

Naming + Verbal Identity
Names, narratives, messaging, voice, campaign language, and the words people need to understand and remember you.

Identity + Design Systems
Visual identity, typography, color, art direction, image language, motion principles, and systems designed to remain useful as the brand evolves.

Websites + Digital Experiences
Content strategy, UX, UI, product interfaces, Webflow and WordPress development, and digital systems that make complex ideas feel clear.

Campaigns + Social
Creative platforms, launches, campaigns, social concepts, and ongoing content systems that keep a brand active without losing its center.

Packaging + Physical Expression
Packaging, publications, environmental graphics, retail materials, and the objects and spaces through which people encounter the brand.

Experiential + Events
Pop-ups, gatherings, collaborations, hospitality, food, music, and participatory ideas that allow people to enter the brand’s world.

Ongoing Creative Leadership
Embedded partnerships and senior creative direction for teams that need clarity, continuity, and momentum without building every capability internally.

We are often most valuable when the boundaries between these disciplines begin to disappear.

BUILT SMALL. THINKING BIG. WORKING CLOSE

Meadow is intentionally smaller than the traditional agency model.

There are fewer layers, fewer handoffs, and no mysterious disappearance of the senior team once an engagement begins. The people helping define the strategic idea remain involved as it becomes language, identity, experience, and execution.

That continuity matters. It keeps the original thinking intact and makes the relationship faster, more direct, and more accountable.Names, narratives, messaging, voice, campaign language, and the words people need to understand and remember you.

Josh Glenn — Co-Founder / Strategy + Creative Direction
Josh helps clients turn complex ideas into clear positions, expressive stories, and decisive creative direction. His work moves between strategy, language, brand experience, and the practical realities of making an idea useful in the world.

Marco Contreras— Co-Founder / Brand Strategy, + Creative Direction with Emerging AI Technologies
Marco brings together brand strategy, visual identity, print, packaging, digital experiences, and AI-driven brand integration to create cohesive brands across platforms. His approach explores how emerging AI technologies can be thoughtfully integrated into brand systems, creative workflows, digital experiences, and customer touchpoints while maintaining a consistent and authentic brand identity.

Around that senior core is a trusted network of writers, developers, photographers, filmmakers, producers, technologists, and specialist collaborators brought in according to what each engagement genuinely requires.

Our long-standing relationships extend through Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Chennai, Dublin, Odessa, and beyond.

The team expands when the work requires it—not because an agency structure needs feeding.

Broad capability. One clear creative and strategic center.

A BRAND SHOULD HAVE A LIFE BEYOND THE SCREEN

Brands aren’t only experienced through a logo, website, or campaign.

They live on shelves and screens, around tables, through music, inside spaces and communities, at gatherings, and within the small moments people remember and repeat.

Our expanding experiential work brings together identity, food, hospitality, music, culture, place, and participation.Names, narratives, messaging, voice, campaign language, and the words people need to understand and remember you.

We create events, collaborations, pop-ups, launches, and social concepts that transform a brand from something people observe into something they can actually enter.

These experiences naturally create material for social channels—but content isn’t the point.

Connection is.

Giving people a genuine reason to participate, stay, share, talk about what happened, and want to return.

Technology can extend the reach of an experience.

It cannot replace the feeling of having been there.

GOOD TASTE IS A BUSINESS ADVANTAGE. A CLEAR IDEA IS AN EVEN BETTER ONE

For more than two decades, Meadow has worked across technology, retail, food and beverage, wine, real estate, architecture, public institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

That range has taught us there is no single formula.

Every meaningful engagement starts by understanding what is already there: the history, ambition, tension, opportunity, personality, and idea that could not credibly belong to anyone else.le need to understand and remember you.

We have been doing this long enough to recognize what lasts—and remain interested enough to keep looking for the unexpected answer.
